Taelen Cobb | she/her/hers

Taelen is a junior studying for her BA in the Film and Media Studies undergraduate department. She is a southern California native from Pomona, which is located east of Los Angeles and situated in the valley. As someone who values the importance of the diverse experiences of Black people across the diaspora, in the future Taelen wants to further develop her skills in multimedia production and contribute them to as many important missions or organizations that entail working with the diaspora as possible. For the Black student community here at UCSB, as an undergrad intern, she wants to help equip them with the confidence and resources needed to feel safe and comfortable as they access these higher education spaces.
